If you are on a boat, 99% of you, 99% of the time, aren't fighting shit.Even when I was "fighting" the term was being used WAY too loosely. Even the majority of OPS personnel aren't actually fighting anyone, yet its the legions of support and service personnel who love to coin the phrase as if its a secret password that gets them immediately into the swankiest south beach nightclub. The military card needs to be given a rest, it has been worn completely the hell out and couldn't be more diluted....non-military folks need to quit putting anyone who wears any uniform automatically on a pedestal and lavishing them with unwarranted praise too. You'd change your tune if you saw how 90% of us spend our time stateside and abroad. Both sides of the coin have gone WAY overboard.
